Lead Rein classes are restricted to riders under 8 yrs of age lead by an attendant, with the minimum age of 4. Ponies 128cm & under.
Champion Lead Rein not eligible to parade for Supreme or class 99- Pony Breeders sash.
Lead Rein Ponies to be judged on 60% suitability & safeness, 40% conformation & paces.

-60- Best turned out Pony and Rider.
-61- Best Lead Rein Rider.
-62- District Pony. (Rule 17)
63– Novice Pony.

Pony Breeders’ Champion Sash
Mare or Gelding not over 148cm. Pony Breeders’ of NZ Ridden Class. Entries must be fully registered with Pony Breeders’ Society of New Zealand (inc) and be foaled in NZ. Judged on 50% conformation & 50% paces, manners & ability. Please state registered number on entry form.
